Netanyahu Requests Court Postponement Due to Surgery
Update on Benjamin Netanyahu's' surgery, he is to remain in hospital following the procedure
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is to undergo a full anaesthesia procedure today following an illness issue discovered last Wednesday that required urgent care. Following the surgery he is to remain in Hadassa Hospital leading to requests from the Prime Minister to reschedule his court orders this coming week.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has requested a rescheduling of this week's hearings in his ongoing legal case, citing the surgery he is scheduled to undergo on Sunday. The Tel Aviv District Court has accepted his request.
The procedure, which involves the removal of Netanyahu’s prostate, will be carried out under full anaesthesia. The request was made in coordination with the prosecution.
According to the request, Netanyahu explained that the need for surgery followed an examination at Hadassah Hospital, where a urinary tract infection caused by benign prostate enlargement was detected. Due to the surgery, Netanyahu is expected to remain in the hospital for several days. He asked the court to cancel the hearings planned for this week to accommodate his recovery.
