Benjamin Netanyahu: Donald Trump providing opportunities "we never dreamed of"
Netanyahu also said that at his order, no-one is allowed to go anywhere near the border fence, as part of the hostage deal and for Israeli security.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement released to the press tonight (Sunday), in which he celebrated the change in policy and ideas from President Donald Trump and noted that the government will keep everyone away from the border fence.
At the beginning of his statement, Netanyahu noted how the meeting with Trump was very warm, very on point, and involved serious, detailed discussions of policy ideas.
He said that as opposed to the Biden administration's idea of bringing the Palestinian Authority into the Gaza Strip, and said that Trump had brand new ideas, ideas that Israel could not even dream of until a few months ago, possibly also referring to the President's desire to relocate displaced Gazans from the Strip to other countries.
Netanyahu also noted that Trump was very impressed by Israel's achievements, especially the shattering of the Iranian axis through covert and military action. Netanyahu attributed this to the strength of the soldiers and the resilience of the Israeli people.
Netanyahu also said that Trump agreed with Netanyahu that it was vital that Israel achieve all its aims: eliminating Hamas, returning all the hostages, ensuring the Gaza Strip to no longer be a threat to Israel, safely return all evacuees from the north and south - and of course, to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon.
The Prime Minister said he could talk more on the matter "in the appropriate forums," meaning that the full extent and detail of Trump's plans and ideas are not a matter for public consumption at present.
Netanyahu ended his statement by saying that Israel will ensure that no-one approaches the border fence or the IDF perimeter, lest they present a threat to the army or to Israel or so dominate the area that Israel will not be able to have prior warning and time to prevent further efforts to attack across the border, as occurred on October 7.
