Dozens of Hamas terrorists approach Gazan buffer zone, no IDF response
Despite the movement of Nukhba terrorists near the border, military leadership decided against immediate action, leaving questions about Israel’s strategy and next steps.

Dozens of Nukhba terrorists moved near the buffer zone with pickup trucks, but the Southern Command decided to refrain from attacking, Walla reported Thursday evening.
The decision not to attack came after the alert level was raised, and according to security sources, it was decided not to attack the terrorists because they were moving near the buffer zone but not inside it.
According to the military sources, the convoy of terrorists did not violate the ceasefire agreement, and an attack on the convoy could have created an escalation and crisis.
A military source told Walla that an investigation was later conducted regarding the terrorists' activities, which revealed that the terrorists had traveled to the southern Gaza Strip to settle scores with the heads of a local clan.
