Hope It's True
Is one of Israel’s most hunted enemies gone? Katz suggests so
Defense Minister Israel Katz hinted today that the IDF has indeed successfully eliminated Mohammad Sinwar, Hamas' military leader in Gaza.

Defense Minister Israel Katz possibly hinted at the fate of Mohammad Sinwar, brother of October 7 mastermind Yahya Sinwar and current Hamas military leader in Gaza, following an IDF strike against him in Khan Yunis.
In a statement he released following the strike on Houthi targets in Yemen, Katz said: "The IDF has now attacked and severely damaged ports in Yemen controlled by the Houthi terrorist organization. The airport in Sanaa also remains destroyed. As we said: if the Houthis continue to fire missiles toward the State of Israel, they will suffer painful blows - and we will also target terrorist leaders just as we did to Deif and the Sinwars in Gaza, Nasrallah in Beirut, and Haniyeh in Tehran. We will hunt down and eliminate Abdul-Malik al-Houthi in Yemen as well. We will defend ourselves with our own forces against any enemy." (emphasis added)
Neither the IDF nor Hamas have provided additional official confirmation that Sinwar is indeed dead, though the intensity of the strike means many commentators think he is indeed dead.
