Horrific Tragedy: 20 Year Old Man Dies after Falling at Haredi Rally
Emergency teams confirm the young man’s death at the scene after sustaining severe injuries from the fall amid the massive “Million Prayer” event.

A 20-year-old man tragically lost his life today after falling from a multi-story building during the large-scale Million Man Prayer Rally in Jerusalem, authorities reported.
Paramedics from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom arrived at the scene to find the teen unconscious, without a pulse, and suffering severe multi-system trauma. Despite immediate medical attention, his injuries were too critical, and he was pronounced dead at the site.
Witnesses indicate that he fell from a construction site he was reportedly on during the gathering. The incident casts a somber shadow over the historic event, which brought tens of thousands of ultra-Orthodox participants to the city in support of Torah study and in protest of the draft law.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall.
United Hatzalah first responders Yosef Gabai, Moshe Fordshem, and Eliyahu Lapidot stated, “The boy fell from a significant height. Despite our medical efforts, his injuries were fatal, and his death was confirmed on-site.”
The deceased has been identified as Mendy Litzman, as investigators try to piece together his final moments. Mendy was the son of the Chabad Shaliach in South Korea.
There are many rumors circulating that he died as a result of a mental health crisis. This was his last social media post.
We will post funeral details as soon as they become available.
