A one-year-old boy was moderately injured on Wednesday when he fell from his stroller on a bus traveling on Ezra Street in Bnei Brak. The incident occurred when the driver braked suddenly, causing the child to fall and sustain a head injury.
United Hatzalah emergency medical teams who were called to the scene provided initial treatment before evacuating the toddler to Schneider Children's Hospital in Petach Tikva.
Ushi Avles and Gedalya Waldman, United Hatzalah medics who treated the infant, reported: "The mother told us that the baby fell from his stroller during the ride, after the bus braked suddenly. We provided him with medical treatment at the scene and he was evacuated to Schneider Children's Hospital suffering from a head injury and his condition is defined as moderate."
