A large-scale fire broke out in open terrain on the outskirts of Beitar Illit, adjacent to the city's industrial zone, prompting a massive emergency response. Dozens of firefighting crews and volunteers from the Judea regional station and neighboring districts are working alongside aircraft from the "Elad" firefighting squadron to contain the flames and protect commercial and industrial buildings.
Major Fire Engulfs Beitar Illit
Multiple fire fronts threaten industrial zone as ground crews and aerial firefighting squadron work to contain the blaze spreading through the city

The incident has evolved into a complex, multi-front emergency. While crews battle the main blaze threatening the industrial area, a second fire front has developed near the city's entrance, with thick black smoke covering the area.
Police officers from the Etzion station have deployed throughout the area to maintain public order and direct traffic as the industrial zone is being evacuated.
Deputy Chief Fire Officer Tamir Erez, commander of the Judea regional station, reported from the scene: "We are dealing with a complex, multi-front incident involving several fire centers, under extremely high heat radiation that is making operations difficult. Large forces are concentrating efforts to protect the commercial buildings. I call on the public to avoid coming to the area, and if there is concern about the fire approaching – close windows and immediately call emergency center 102."
