The videos released appeared to show recordings allegedly filmed by the hackers, who claim they managed to move through military installations without being detected. One clip showed people in uniform watching the animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants". The hackers also claimed they succeeded in exposing the IDF's camera systems, sensors and security infrastructure — but presented no evidence proving this.
In Handala's statement, the hackers also addressed Israel's elections and directed a message at Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. "How can you claim to have an 'invincible army' and hold free elections when penetration at this level occurs regularly?" the message read. "Congratulations to Mr Netanyahu. Under your leadership, the next October 7 is approaching, not just once, but many more times. The Zionist army will never sleep peacefully again."
Despite the serious claims, at this stage there is no independent confirmation that the hackers actually penetrated IDF bases or gained access to military security systems, and it is not possible to determine from the published footage who filmed it, how it reached the hackers' hands, or whether it indeed represents a breach of IDF bases. The claim that members of the group are still operating inside military bases has also not been verified.
