Likud vs Ben Gvir: "Lies against Netanyahu" six days out

A sharp clash inside the coalition: the Likud on Wednesday attacked National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, accusing him of spreading lies against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the Instagram page "Push," which is reportedly operated on his behalf.

"Ben Gvir is a senior minister in our government, and will be in the next government as well [but] only if the left-wing bloc and the Arab parties do not win," the Likud said. "It is unfortunate that Ben Gvir is shooting inside the APC and spreading blatant lies against the Likud and the prime minister."

According to the Likud, Ben Gvir "is using his private propaganda page on Instagram, 'Push,' to attack the prime minister with crude and blatant lies. This page is doing everything it can so that the bloc of Eisenkot, Liberman, Yair Golan and the Arab parties will win."

"We call on Ben Gvir to instruct his propaganda page 'Push' to stop working for a left-wing and Arab-party victory in the election," they said. "Ben Gvir is attacking the right and the Likud instead of attacking the left, and Winter, Zelicha and Noam, who are burning precious right-wing votes."

The Likud statement closed with an election pitch to the public: "Only a vote for Mahal will guarantee a right-wing government led by Netanyahu, with Ben Gvir as a senior member of the government. Only a vote for Mahal will prevent a dangerous government of Eisenkot, Liberman and Bennett with the Arab parties and Yair Golan."
