In an almost incomprehensible reality of captivity and grief, Yarden Bibas found the strength to honor his loved ones in a moving social media post for Memorial Day. Yarden, who was abducted to Gaza separately from his family on that "Black Sabbath," spoke with deep agony regarding the murder of his wife, Shiri, and their two young children, Ariel and Kfir, whose story became one of the most painful symbols of the "Iron Swords" war.

"Time passes, the longing grows, and nothing will ever fill the void that remains," Yarden wrote in a post that quickly went viral.

He also took a moment to remember Shiri’s parents, Yossi and Margit Silberman, and the family dog, Tonto, who were also lost. "We love you more than anything in the world, always. You will be in our hearts forever."
