The Prime Minister's Office has released the annual medical report for Benjamin Netanyahu, revealing a complex personal health journey conducted away from the public eye. According to the official document, the Prime Minister underwent surgery approximately a year and a half ago, followed by radiation treatments after the early-stage discovery of a cancerous growth.

The official statement detailed the timeline:

The report clarified that the lesion was localized and non-metastatic. Doctors provided Netanyahu with two options: close clinical monitoring or short, targeted radiation therapy. The Prime Minister elected for treatment.

"The treatment, managed by Prof. Aharon Popovzer alongside Dr. Marc Wygoda and Dr. Shraga Gross, was a complete success, with the total disappearance of the lesion confirmed by all imaging and laboratory tests." -

Netanyahu to the Nation: "I Beat This Too"

Following the release of the report, Prime Minister Netanyahu issued a special statement to the Israeli public to explain the timing of the disclosure and his personal health status.

"I requested to delay the publication of this report by two months so it would not be released at the height of the war, preventing the Iranian terror regime from spreading false propaganda against Israel," Netanyahu explained. He offered three clear points to the public:

"By God's grace, I am healthy.
I am in excellent physical condition.
I had a minor medical issue that was completely treated. Thank God, it is behind me."

Personal Strategy vs. National Security

Netanyahu compared his medical decision-making to his well-known security doctrine. He noted that while doctors told him he could simply live with the growth under monitoring, a common path for his age group, he preferred immediate action.

"You already know me," the Prime Minister said. "When I receive information in time about a potential danger, I want to deal with it immediately. This is true on a national level and an individual level. I underwent targeted treatment that removed the problem without leaving a trace. I went for a few short treatments, read a book, and continued working. The spot has completely vanished."

Netanyahu concluded his remarks by urging citizens to prioritize their own health and undergo routine checkups, while offering a prayer for the wounded and Israel's security forces.
