Jon Bon Jovi stepped in to prevent a woman from jumping off a Nashville bridge on Wednesday, potentially saving her life.
The rock legend encountered the woman around 6 p.m. local time while filming a music video for his song “People’s House” on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. Surveillance footage released by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department shows Bon Jovi approaching the woman, who appeared to be ready to jump. Together with a bystander, he engaged her in conversation and managed to pull her back over the railing, bringing her to safety.
