Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has declared that Tehran has delivered a firm response to Washington. He also said Iran's military is at its highest level of defensive readiness. He warned that any attack on Iran would be answered in a way that is "unpredictable and without geographical limitations," Arutz Sheva reported.
"The countries of the region must understand that Iran is fully prepared for war and that its finger is on the trigger. The ball is now in America's court, and it bears the responsibility for avoiding war," he stated. He said threats and military maneuvers would not force Iran to surrender, and declared that "the era of imposing dictates is over."
He also warned of a wider confrontation. "If America makes another strategic mistake, it should know that this time it will face a new battlefield and find itself even more vulnerable," he said. He added that Washington would then be even more desperate than it is today to find a way out.
