Iranian security forces are reporting a series of dramatic incidents allegedly tied to Israeli intelligence activity within the country.
While it remains unclear how much of the information is based on verified intelligence versus paranoia or internal messaging, Iranian outlets are detailing the following:
Round 1 - Initial Reports:
- Drone Lab Discovered: A small drone manufacturing lab was allegedly uncovered in a three-story residential building in southern Tehran. Iranian officials claim the lab was operated by the Israeli Mossad.
- Ammunition Smuggler Arrested: A man allegedly caught smuggling hundreds of bullets on his body was identified by Iranian authorities as a “Mossad agent.”
- Car Chase in Central Tehran: Iranian reports describe a dramatic pursuit involving a vehicle allegedly carrying Mossad agents. Shots were fired during the chase, including at an Iranian security officer on a motorcycle.
Round 2 - Expanded Claims:
- Weapons-Laden Vehicle Seized: Iranian forces claim to have captured a vehicle with a hidden compartment used to distribute weapons across various sites.
- Explosives Lab Found: An alleged Mossad hideout in a residential apartment contained explosive materials, said to have been smuggled into Iran for weapon production.
- Attempted Suicide During Arrest: A man described as a “Mossad operative” reportedly attempted suicide using a concealed device in his mouth after being captured through a deception operation by the Revolutionary Guard. Resuscitation efforts are said to be ongoing.
- Youth Arrested as Collaborators: Several teenagers were allegedly detained for assisting Mossad agents, possibly by carrying out low-level disruptive acts such as graffiti or tire-burning.
- Vehicle With Explosives: Another vehicle chase led to the arrest of a man accused of being a Mossad collaborator, with large quantities of explosives reportedly found in the car. (Note: Some footage may actually be recycled from unrelated drug arrests.)
- Operatives Captured Near Strategic Site: Two alleged Mossad collaborators were reportedly detained at a construction site near a sensitive location, with their hands tied using improvised restraints.
- Remote-Controlled Weapons Site: Equipment attributed to the Mossad was allegedly found in an open area near a strategic site, used for remote-controlled attacks.
These reports are being circulated widely in Iranian media, though independent verification is currently lacking. Israeli authorities have not commented.
We will continue monitoring developments.
