Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, said the military campaign against Iran’s missile launch infrastructure could take weeks rather than days due to the way the systems have been deployed. Leiter said Iranian forces had dispersed many of their missile launchers across mountainous terrain, placing them far apart and often concealing them in remote areas.
