At a time when corporations invest heavily in social media management, Apple has taken the opposite approach: the technology giant's official account on X has accumulated nearly 10 million followers despite displaying exactly zero posts on its profile.
The @Apple account has existed for years, but visitors today find an almost entirely blank page: a simple profile picture, a gray header image, and no public posts whatsoever. Yet millions of users continue to follow the dormant account.
The silence doesn't mean Apple ignores X entirely. The company has used the platform over the years for advertising and sponsored campaigns, even though these don't appear as regular posts on the account's timeline. Meanwhile, other Apple accounts, including Apple Support, maintain active presences and provide customer assistance.
