El Al announced a more flexible commercial policy Monday for passengers holding tickets on flights scheduled to depart through June 13, 2026, amid the renewed security escalation.
According to the airline, passengers will be able to choose between receiving a credit voucher for future use or changing their flight date without paying a change fee.
El Al said passengers who move their flight to the same destination through June 13 will not be charged a change fee or fare difference, subject to availability in the same service class.
Passengers who choose to move their flight to a later date will also be exempt from change fees, though they may be required to pay fare differences if the new ticket is more expensive.
The announcement comes as Ben Gurion Airport remains open, despite the renewed missile fire from Iran and ongoing security assessments. At the same time, Home Front Command has demanded that the number of people inside the airport be limited to 2,500.
