Unprecedented: 70 fans were arrested before the derby in Tel Aviv
The Israel Police have arrested dozens of Hapoel Tel Aviv fans on suspicion of possessing weapons, including a rifle and Molotov cocktails, in a warehouse. Additionally, two Tel Aviv residents were arrested after being found with smoke grenades, a rifle and fireworks

Today (Tuesday), the police arrested approximately 70 fans from the ultras group of the Hapoel Tel Aviv football club on suspicion of possessing weapons.
As part of the preparations for the derby that will take place tonight (Tuesday) at Bloomfield Stadium between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv, Israeli police officers conducted a raid on a warehouse belonging to the Ultras fans' group of Hapoel Tel Aviv. During the raid, approximately 70 individuals were arrested, and in their possession, iron bars, clubs, flare guns, and Molotov cocktails were also found. Following the arrests, the suspects were transferred for police questioning.
Additionally, the police arrested two residents of Tel Aviv who were in possession of approximately 30 smoke grenades, two airsoft pistols, and 11 flares. They were arrested and taken in for further investigation.
