Two Terrorists Killed After Route 35 Attack Near Judea Junction

Terrorists opened fire on Israeli vehicles traveling on Route 35 near Judea Junction Friday morning, wounding five people before IDF forces eliminated both attackers following a short pursuit.

Footage circulating on social media captured the moments of the attack, with multiple gunshots audible as passengers shouted, "They're shooting at us the whole time."

The IDF Spokesperson confirmed that a report was received of a shooting attack near Judea Junction in the Judea Brigade sector. Forces arrived at the scene immediately after the initial report and began treating the wounded.

According to the IDF, the terrorists fled the scene after carrying out the attack. Large numbers of IDF forces launched a pursuit and set up extensive roadblocks across the area to locate and neutralize them.

The attack took place on Route 35 near the Tarqumiya checkpoint. After a brief chase, IDF forces reached the terrorists, who continued firing at security personnel. The forces eliminated both attackers on the spot.

Magen David Adom medics and paramedics, working alongside an IDF medical team, treated five victims at the scene: two in critical condition, one in moderate condition, and two lightly wounded. The critically wounded were evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center and Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

The IDF Spokesperson confirmed: "Following the report of a shooting attack in the Judea Junction area of the Judea Brigade, two terrorists were eliminated. IDF forces are continuing searches. A cordon has been placed on several villages in the area."

The Judea sector and the broader Judea and Samaria region have seen multiple shooting incidents and attacks in recent months. This morning's attack joins a long series of terror incidents in the area.
