The Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations (Mossad), through the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, has released an unprecedented intelligence exposure, identifying a senior Iranian operative allegedly responsible for orchestrating a global network of terror plots targeting Israeli and Jewish interests.

The exposure of the operative, a commander within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), follows a wave of international terror cell arrests across Europe and Australia, shedding light on Tehran's covert terror infrastructure and its recent operational failures.

The Architect: Sardar Amar and IRGC Unit 11,000

For the first time, the intelligence community has named and detailed the commander at the center of the network: Sardar Amar, a senior officer in the Revolutionary Guards.

Amar reportedly leads Unit 11,000 under the direction of Quds Force chief Esmail Qaani. According to the report, this unit constructed a vast network with the explicit mandate of carrying out attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets, both within Israel and abroad.

Failures Lead to Exposure

The announcement specifies that this network is directly responsible for attempted attacks uncovered in three separate regions over the past year: Greece, Australia, and Germany.

The report highlights that the network’s "repeated failures" were the primary cause of its exposure and the subsequent widespread arrests by international law enforcement agencies. This series of operational lapses is presented by the Israeli intelligence community as evidence of Iran's mounting difficulties in conducting covert operations globally and the "erosion of its global reach."

The exposure serves as a direct message from Jerusalem that Tehran is "paying a heavy price internationally" for its failed attempts to execute terrorism plots abroad, marking a rare and public attribution of specific terror plots to a named senior commander within the IRGC's Quds Force structure.
