US Navy Wipes Out Iranian Mine-Laying Fleet

Red Line in the Water: Trump Orders Iran to Clear the Strait of Hormuz or Face Oblivion

President Trump has issued a final warning to the Iranian regime after US intelligence detected signs of naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz, followed by the immediate destruction of ten Iranian vessels.

Tensions in the Persian Gulf reached a boiling point today as President Donald Trump issued a stern ultimatum to the Iranian regime regarding reports of naval mines being deployed in the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait, which serves as one of the world’s most critical shipping lanes for global oil supplies, has become the latest flashpoint in the ongoing war. Trump warned that any attempt to block the passage with explosives would be met with "military consequences at a level never seen before." Within hours of the initial intelligence reports, the President confirmed that the United States had already taken decisive action, wiping out a fleet of Iranian vessels specialized in mine-laying operations. This rapid escalation signals that the White House is unwilling to allow the regime to disrupt international commerce as a last-resort tactic in the war.

The Ultimatum on Truth Social

The President took to his Truth Social platform to address the reports directly, demanding the immediate cessation of any maritime mining activities. "If Iran has placed any mines in the Strait of Hormuz, and we have no reports that show they have done so, we demand that they be removed, immediately!" Trump posted. He made it clear that while the US is still verifying the extent of the threat, the response to any non-compliance would be catastrophic for the Iranian military. "If for any reason mines were laid and they are not removed immediately, the military consequences for Iran will be at a level never seen before," the President cautioned. However, he also offered a small diplomatic opening, noting that if the regime removes any mines that may have been placed, it would be viewed as a "huge step in the right direction."

Ten Ships Destroyed

The verbal warning was quickly followed by a report of direct military kinetic action. President Trump announced that US forces had successfully engaged and destroyed ten Iranian mine-laying boats or ships. He described these vessels as being in an "inactive" state at the time of the strike but noted that they posed an imminent threat to global shipping. "I am pleased to report that within the last few hours, we have hit, and completely destroyed, 10 inactive mine laying boats and/or ships, with more to follow!" the President stated. This preemptive strike is intended to cripple Iran’s ability to further pollute the shipping lanes with explosives, ensuring that the vital waterway remains open for tankers and international cargo ships.

Casualties and Regional Impact

While the US military is achieving its tactical goals at sea, the human cost of the war continues to climb. Reports from Reuters indicate that approximately 150 American soldiers have been wounded so far in the various fronts of the war with Iran. The maritime front remains the most sensitive, as any successful mining of the Strait would send global energy prices skyrocketing and force a massive naval clearing operation. By taking out the specialized mine-laying fleet before the explosives could be deployed in mass, the Trump administration hopes to avoid a long-term blockade. For now, the US Navy remains on high alert, with more strikes promised if the regime continues its attempts to sabotage the global economy.
