 US Decimates Iran’s Maritime Power

The Vanishing Fleet: Trump Confirms Nearly the Entire Iranian Navy is Now Underwater

President Trump has announced that nearly the entire Iranian naval fleet has been destroyed, with sixty ships currently sitting at the bottom of the Persian Gulf after intensive US strikes.

In a briefing held outside the White House on Wednesday, President Donald Trump declared that the Iranian Navy has been effectively liquidated as a fighting force. The President revealed that "Operation Epic Fury" has successfully targeted and sunk 60 Iranian vessels, including the specialized mine-laying boats that the regime intended to use to block the Strait of Hormuz. Trump, speaking with his characteristic candor, noted that the scale of the Iranian fleet was larger than he had initially realized, but ultimately proved to be "ineffective" against the overwhelming technological and fire superiority of the United States Navy. This maritime victory has significantly reduced the regime's ability to threaten global energy supplies or launch unconventional attacks from the sea.

The Destruction of the Mine-Laying Fleet

A major focus of the recent naval strikes was the neutralization of Iran’s ability to engage in maritime sabotage. "Almost the entire Iranian navy is gone," Trump told reporters, specifically highlighting that the ships capable of laying naval mines were put out of commission within a single night. This preemptive action was taken after US intelligence detected signs that the regime was preparing to pollute the world's most critical shipping lanes with explosives. By sinking these specialized vessels before they could deploy their cargo, the US has maintained the "national functional continuity" of the global oil market and signaled that any attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz will be met with immediate and total destruction.

A Warning of Permanent Ruin

The President warned that the current level of destruction is only the beginning if the Iranian regime does not move toward unconditional surrender. He emphasized that the United States has hit Iran harder than almost any other country in history, but still maintains "many more targets" that can be engaged. "We can do much worse. We are currently leaving certain things that if we decide to hit them, we could hit them this afternoon, in fact even within an hour," Trump cautioned. He added a grim postscript for the Iranian leadership, stating that if the US decides to escalate further, the regime "will simply never be able to rebuild this country."

Regional Implications

The total collapse of the Iranian Navy has sent shockwaves through the Middle East, with regional leaders reportedly expressing astonishment at the speed and efficiency of the American-Israeli campaign. Trump noted that leaders he has spoken with "said they have never seen anything like this." While the maritime threat has been largely neutralized, the President reiterated that the mission will continue until all military objectives, including the destruction of the ballistic missile industry and the removal of the nuclear threat, are fully achieved. For now, the Iranian Navy remains a "ghost fleet," with its most modern assets resting on the seafloor.
