Hundreds of family members, friends, and colleagues gathered today at the Kiryat Shaul Cemetery to bid farewell to Dana Eden, one of Israel’s most influential television producers. Eden, 52, passed away earlier this week in Athens, Greece, during the production of the fourth season of her Emmy-winning series, Tehran.

During the service, Eden’s husband of many years delivered a moving eulogy, recalling their life together since the age of 15.

"I fell in love with you when we were teenagers," he shared. "You were always larger than life, unafraid of anything. Together we built a home; we went through births, losses, investigations, and premieres. For Dana, everything started and ended with a good story. You had a stormy soul, and I know you didn't want to grow old, you wanted to remain eternally young. I hope you find the peace and quiet you were looking for."

Eden’s mother also spoke through her grief, describing her daughter as a "mature soul" even as a child. "There are so many people you touched across the entire world. Many were built up thanks to you and your wise advice. Thank you for the amazing years together. I love you, my girl; rest in peace."

The funeral comes just days after rumors circulated on social media regarding the nature of her death. Her production company issued a stern clarification earlier this week to quell false reports: "The rumors regarding a criminal or nationalistic motive are incorrect and unfounded. This is a moment of great pain, and we ask for the media to respect the privacy of her loved ones."

Local Greek authorities previously indicated that initial evidence suggested no foul play.

Dana Eden is survived by her husband and three children, including actor Gur Eden.
