The Y-Studs A Cappella group, an all-male ensemble from Yeshiva University known for their Jewish-themed parodies and medleys, dropped their 2025 Hanukkah song yesterday (Sunday), just in time for the holiday season (Hanukkah begins on the evening of December 14 this year).
Titled "A Very Jonas Hanukkah," it's an upbeat a cappella mashup honoring the Jonas Brothers, weaving their hits like "Year 3000," "Play My Music," "Sucker," and "Burning Up" with festive Hanukkah lyrics about dreidels, latkes, menorahs, and the miracle of the oil.
It features the group performing in coordinated outfits against holiday backdrops, with high-energy vocals and harmonies.
This follows their tradition of annual Hanukkah releases, like last year's "A Jackson 5 Hanukkah" medley. youtube.com The group teased it on social media in late November, building hype with behind-the-scenes glimpses. instagram.com It's available on streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, and they've encouraged fans to share it for holiday cheer.
