Huckabee: Alliance with Israel not just political but spiritual

During a speech at the JNS International Conference at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York today (Monday), US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said that the alliance between the United States and Israel is more than political - it is spiritual.

He also said that contrary to those who think it is Israel who benefits from the alliance materially, it is the United States that benefits from relations with Israel.

He also said that he believes the Land of Israel belongs to the Jewish People, the Chosen Nation, and that he hopes he will help secure peace for Israel to that end.
