Special Forces Rescue IDF Soldier from Violent Jerusalem Protest | WATCH
Authorities state that Yasam special forces and police officers were forced to deploy riot dispersal means to extract a soldier after a hostile crowd blocked his bus, spit on him, and threw objects.

The Israel Police released new footage on Tuesday documenting the dispersal of a hostile crowd that surrounded an IDF soldier during an ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) demonstration in Jerusalem on Monday evening, an incident that forced law enforcement to intervene and rescue him.
According to the police statement, the incident unfolded during a violent breach of public order that included road blockades and assaults on both police officers and civilians, as reported by Arutz Sheva.
Forced Intervention
During the unrest, Jerusalem District police officers and Yasam (Special Patrol Unit) fighters operating at the scene identified a hostile gathering forming around an IDF soldier. The soldier had just disembarked from a bus that had been blocked by the demonstrators.
The police statement detailed the actions of the crowd:
"The rioters began attempting to harm the soldier, while cursing, spitting at him, and throwing various objects."
In response to the immediate threat, Yasam fighters and police officers utilized riot dispersal means, including smoke grenades to push the attackers away from the soldier and successfully extracted him from the scene.
