IDF spokesman in Arabic, Avichai Adraee, urged the residents of Yemen near the sea ports controlled by the Houthis to evacuate the area until further notice. The warning comes after 3 ballistic missiles were fired from Yemen towards Israel in the last 24 hours.

"This is an important and repeated warning to all those present in the seaports controlled by the Houthi terrorist regime: the Ras Isa port, the Hudaydah port, and the Al-Salif port," said Adrai. "We urge you to evacuate these ports until further notice."

The IDF spokesman added and clarified that "due to the use of the seaports by the Houthi terrorist regime for terrorist activities, we call on all those present in these ports to evacuate and keep away from them for your safety until further notice. Evacuating the ports will keep you safe."

This is the second time this week that the IDF spokesman has issued an evacuation warning for the ports in Yemen, after a similar announcement was made last Sunday. "We call on all those present at the ports controlled by the Houthi regime to evacuate and keep a distance from them for your safety until further notice," it was stated. Despite the evacuation warning, there have been no attacks in the area of the Yemeni seaports since then.
