Unstable weather conditions will continue across Israel in the next few days, according to the national meteorological service, bringing local rainfall and a notable drop in temperatures.
The weather forecast initially indicated that there could be flash flooding, but now indicates that the rain will be less strong than expected.
Sunday will see partly cloudy skies with local showers expected through midday, primarily affecting northern regions of the country. Temperatures will fall further, dropping below seasonal norms especially in mountainous areas and inland regions. The cooler conditions will bring significant relief from recent heat.
Monday's forecast calls for partly cloudy conditions with possible light drizzle along the coastal strip during morning hours. Temperatures will rise slightly but remain somewhat below seasonal averages, particularly in the hills and interior areas.
