Poll shows Netanyahu dominating as preferred Prime Minister candidate
A new national poll shows Benjamin Netanyahu far ahead of any rival for the role of Prime Minister—solidifying his dominance in the Israeli political landscape.

A new poll released today (Thursday) by Channel 14 shows Benjamin Netanyahu far ahead of his rivals for Prime Minister.
According to the poll, 50% of Israelis want Netanyahu and just 19% want Lapid (the rest don't know/want someone else), while 49% want Netanyahu compared to 15% for Gantz (36% don't know/want someone else).
The poll shows Netanyahu's coalition heading to a crushing victory with 64 seats in the Knesset, compared to just 46 seats for the opposition and 10 seats for the Arab parties.
If the election were held today, Likud would get a whopping 34 seats, Yisrael Beytenu 17, Democrats 16, Shas 10, State Camp and UTJ 8, Otzmah Yehudit 7, Religious Zionism, Yesh Atid, and the Arab parties 5 each. Balad would not pass the electoral threshold.
