Trump stymies attack on Iran
Netanyahu's Iran war plan EXPLODES after Trump summons him to the White House
New York Times: Just weeks before a planned Israeli airstrike on Iranian nuclear facilities, Israel's PM was called to an unplanned White House meeting where Trump firmly intervened, shifting strategy from military action to backchannel diplomacy with Tehran.

The Israeli defense establishment has formulated plans for a large-scale military attack against Iran's nuclear facilities, which was planned to be carried out next month, but US President Donald Trump chose to block Israel and follow the diplomatic line with direct talks with Iran.
According to a report in the New York Times, the Israeli attack plan was planned to be carried out in full cooperation with the United States, and as mentioned, it was already planned for next week, and according to White House sources, President Trump blocked the plan in favor of the talks.
The report claims that there are two camps in the White House, one supporting a military strike and the other seeking to follow the diplomatic line. In his urgent meeting with President Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu sought to influence the president's decision, but was unsuccessful.
According to the report, the plans prepared in Israel required the involvement of the United States in attacking and defending the State of Israel from Iran's response. The plan was also to delay Iran's nuclear program: "They were willing to carry them out – and to set back Iran's ability to reach a nuclear weapon by a year or more," sources were quoted as saying.
