Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a personal meeting with the Shin Bet operatives and commanders who led a daring raid into Gaza City that resulted in the capture of Moein al-Arrabid, Hamas's chief of general security in the Gaza Strip. The meeting followed Netanyahu's visit to the Yellow Line border area adjacent to the enclave, where he commended the personnel for their successful mission and safe return.
The operation, which took place during daylight hours, involved a complex infiltration into the heart of Gaza. Security forces conducted the raid with intensive air support from the Israeli Air Force and engaged in heavy firefighting before successfully apprehending one of Hamas's most influential figures in the territory and extracting him to Israeli territory.
