Tel Aviv police have arrested dozens of suspects believed to be involved in a large-scale human trafficking operation that brought women from Eastern Europe into Israel for prostitution, according to a report by Channel 13.

The arrests were made during a series of raids conducted early this morning, targeting suspects allegedly connected to the trafficking network, including several members from the same family. Authorities also froze 17 bank accounts tied to the operation in an effort to cut off the group’s financial resources.

Police officials reportedly described the bust as one of the largest anti-trafficking operations Tel Aviv police have undertaken in recent years.
