Smotrich: No aid to reach Hamas; vows total destruction of Gaza terror network

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich declared today (Monday) that not a single truck of humanitarian aid will reach Hamas, pushing back against what he called “outright lies” and defending Israel’s new aid policy for Gaza.

In a forceful statement, Smotrich said he had personally led efforts to halt the “folly” of past aid convoys that were allegedly seized and profited from by Hamas. He emphasized that while essential supplies for civilians will continue under strict controls, none of it will be allowed to reach the terror group, as the IDF intensifies operations aimed at dismantling Hamas once and for all.

Smotrich stated: "No aid will get to Hamas. Anyone who says anything else is simply lying, and it's not clear to me what their motive is. I led the demand to stop the folly of bringing in thousands of trucks that Hamas took over and sold and made a billion dollars and maintained its rule. I led the alternative response of the civilian companies, and I tell you responsibly, what was will not be. There will be an income that is obligatory, the reality of a minimum of food and medicine for the population in Gaza, but none of this will reach Hamas.

He went on to say: "Since yesterday, the IDF has been operating with five divisions in the Gaza Strip with an intensity not seen since the beginning of the war. And this time, in a completely different method than in the past. No more raids and entrances and exits, but occupiers, purifies and remains. Until the destruction of Hamas. On the way, they destroy what is left of the Gaza Strip simply because everything there is one big city of terror. This is a tremendous change from what has been done so far, and with God's help, it will lead to victory, the destruction of Hamas and the return of the hostages. As part of the war, the IDF moves the population from the combat zones and leaves no stone unturned. The population will reach the southern Gaza Strip and from there, God willing, to third countries as part of President Trump's plan, and this is a change in the course of history. No less. That's the main thing."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised Smotrich: "You spoke the truth, you showed leadership."
