Will the Haredim *ever* join the IDF?!
Will the IDF shut down the controversial Haredi recruitment administration?
This administration is simply not able to actually get haredim to join the army– and at time when this issue has become more critical than ever, the IDF is considering alternatives.

The IDF is reportedly weighing the decision to dismantle its dedicated Haredi (ultra-Orthodox Jewish) Recruitment Administration.
Although it seems sudden, the truth is that, for many long years, this adminsitration has sorely underperformed, failing to meet recruitment targets for the insular Haredi community.
According to sources, high-level discussions have been underway to wind down the specialized administration, which has employed dozens of regular soldiers and civilian personnel.
The decision is said to be driven by a scathing government report that accused some Haredi Administration staff of deliberately falsifying enlistment data and engaging in questionable hiring practices.
"There are good people there, but there was no professional measure - it was all a sideline. Even in customer service centers, they would find better employees," a former senior official within the administration told local media.
The IDF has not officially confirmed the plans, with a spokesperson stating that "no decision has yet been made" on the future of the Haredi Recruitment Administration. However, sources indicate that Lt. Col. Avigdor Dikshtein has been tapped to oversee the potential dismantling and integration of Haredi conscription into the broader IDF manpower system.
The move would mark a symbolic shift in the military's approach to engaging the influential Haredi community, which has long resisted compulsory service.
