Trump announces: "I spoke with Netanyahu about Iran, we are on the same side"

President Donald Trump revealed that he recently spoke by phone with Prime Minister Netanyahu (Tuesday) and announced that the two are coordinated on a series of central issues, including nuclear talks with Iran.

President Trump published the announcement on his own social media platform, where he wrote: "I’ve just spoken to Prime Minister of Israel, Bibi Netanyahu, relative to numerous subjects including Trade, Iran, etc. The call went very well—We are on the same side of every issue."

According to Trump's statements, it appears that the Prime Minister and the President remain coordinated with each other on diplomatic moves taking place on a series of strategic issues. First and foremost is the Iranian issue.

This is despite reports of concerns in Israel about American contacts with Iran, and reports about Trump blocking an Israeli strike on the nuclear program.
