Bennett attacks Deri: "He has no G-d"

Former prime minister Naftali Bennett sharply criticised Shas chairman Aryeh Deri over his pledge to secure additional funding for those not serving in the IDF: While soldiers are being ground down, he's talking about transferring more money to draft dodgers

Former prime minister Naftali Bennett launched a sharp attack today (Monday) on Shas chairman Aryeh Deri, following Deri's remarks yesterday in which he pledged to secure additional budgets for the public that does not enlist in the IDF.

"Yesterday Deri once again said he would bring tens of billions of shekels to the draft-dodging public. He has no G-d," Bennett said at the ynet conference. "At a time like this, when soldiers are being ground down, he's talking about transferring more money to draft dodgers. That's why we'll make a revolution. We'll take the money from the draft dodgers and transfer it to those who serve."

Bennett added: "Because of the population growth rate of our chareidi brothers, if in the next four years we don't dismantle the anti-Zionist chareidi state that has arisen inside the State of Israel, we have no state. Taxes will rise. In the end, the chareidim are brothers to all of us, they're part of the state, and there are gradual processes for them to integrate into the army and the workforce. The processes are going in exactly the opposite direction right now."
