Ballot slips at a polling station

A new mandate poll by i24NEWS examines voting intentions in the event of repeat elections, and the results show a complex political map in which neither Zionist bloc reaches the 61-seat majority needed to form a government without additional partnerships.

According to the survey, conducted by Direct Polls, Likud under Binyamin Netanyahu remains the largest party with 28 mandates. The Yashar! party comes second with 20 seats, followed by Beyachad with 12. The Democrats and Yisrael Beiteinu each receive 8 mandates, while Shas and United Torah Judaism each take 7. Otzma Yehudit and Religious Zionism, and Zehut, close the list with 6 mandates apiece.

The bloc breakdown

When the parties are grouped by bloc, the right holds an advantage with 54 mandates: Likud's 28, plus 7 each from Shas and United Torah Judaism, and 6 each from Otzma Yehudit and Religious Zionism and from Zehut.

The center-left and opposition bloc stands at 48 mandates, made up of Yashar! with 20, Beyachad with 12, and 8 each from the Democrats and Yisrael Beiteinu. The Arab parties together reach 18 mandates, with the Joint List taking 11 and Ra'am receiving 7.
