In a horrific tragedy, Charlie Kirk was gunned down by a trained sniper at a Utah University event yesterday. He was shot on the first day of his Prove Me Wrong tour.
According to the BBC, there were more than 3,000 people at the outdoor event. A witness noted that she was surprised that "nobody scanned our equipment, nobody scanned our bags, there was no security like that.”
BNO News obtained a press release from the Utah DPS on Charlie Kirk's assassination:
"We initially took in George Zinn as a suspect. He was later released and charged with obstruction by UVU police. A second suspect was taken into custody and released after interrogation with law enforcement. There are no current ties to the shooting with either of these individuals. There is an ongoing investigation and manhunt for the shooter."
The shooter is still at large as the world mourns the loss of a brilliant leader.
