Reported IDF attack in Syria
Report in Syria: Large explosions in building housing senior Iranian officials
Syrian media reported "three large explosions" in the city of Baniyas in the west of the country, and according to estimates, this was an Israeli attack aimed at three senior Iranian officials who were staying a building in the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported "three large explosions" that were heard in the city of Baniyas in the Latakia district this morning (Friday). According to reports in the Arab media, this was an Israeli attack aimed at three senior Iranian officials who were staying in a building in the area.
Today's attack marks the fourth time this week that the IAF has carried out an attack on Syria. Last night it was reported that a Hezbollah vehicle was destroyed by an Israeli drone in the Al-Qusayr area, killing one person.
Last Wednesday, explosions were heard in the Sayyidah Zaynab area, where it was claimed that Israeli warplanes hit three different locations in the district, including a military site on the outskirts of the Bila suburb that served as headquarters for Iranian militias.
At the beginning of the week two Hezbollah operatives were reportedly killed by a missile strike in the Al-Qusayr area. According to the report, the two were driving a civilian truck when it was hit by a missile. Reports further stated that the missile was fired from a plane in the border area between Syria and Lebanon, which they claimed was an Israeli attack.
Two additional attacks were reported in the Damascus area last week, likely targeting Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Iranian weapons depots were attacked in the Al Bukamal area, as well as other Iranian depots inside Syria.
