Trump vs. Tucker Explodes
A massive MAGA rift erupts as President Trump boosts a scathing attack on Tucker Carlson. Amid the Iran conflict, Trump’s repost of Douglas Murray calling Carlson "deranged" and a "backstabber" over his Israel stance has split the base.

President Trump reposted (on Truth Social) a scathing New York Post column by Douglas Murray that brutally attacks Tucker Carlson over his shifting stance on Israel and the current U.S./Israel actions against Iran.
The column (originally from mid-March but Trump just amplified it heavily) is titled something along the lines of “Deranged Tucker Carlson backstabs Trump” and calls Carlson:
Murray accuses Carlson of turning parts of the MAGA base against Israel and against Trump’s strong pro-Israel/Iran policy.
It all blew up after Tucker’s recent interview with libertarian podcaster Dave Smith.
In that episode, Smith highlighted declining American support for Israel, citing fresh polls from Gallup, NBC, and Pew showing sympathy shifting toward Palestinians. He questioned the influence of the “Israel lobby” on U.S. foreign policy and he criticized U.S. involvement in the Iran conflict.
Trump/Murray see this as Carlson actively undermining Trump’s agenda.
Reactions splitting MAGA wide open:
This is exposing a major fracture inside the MAGA coalition right in the middle of the Iran war, over how much America should be involved in Middle East conflicts and support for Israel.
Tucker has not responded publicly.
