Paratroopers eliminate armed cell in military structure • Weekend alerts sound in Manara, Margaliot, Mishgav Am | IDF continues operations against terror infrastructure (Middle East)

The IDF Spokesperson's Unit released dramatic footage on Saturday evening showing forces from the Paratroopers Brigade, operating under the 98th Division, eliminating six armed Hezbollah terrorists in a firefight at a military structure in the Bint Jbeil area of southern Lebanon.
The operation represents part of the IDF's ongoing efforts to remove threats against Israeli forces and civilians, following Hezbollah's repeated use of these structures to advance terror operations against the State of Israel. The military emphasized that the terror organization continues exploiting civilian and military buildings to stage attacks against IDF troops and Israeli territory.
According to the IDF statement, the terrorists were operating from a fortified position when Israeli forces engaged them. The released footage captures the precision strike that neutralized the armed cell, demonstrating the continued intensity of operations in the region despite recent ceasefire violations by Hezbollah.
Weekend Rocket Attacks Target Galilee Communities
The elimination operation came amid a series of security incidents throughout the weekend. Sirens sounded in northern communities on Saturday afternoon as Hezbollah launched two rockets from Lebanese territory toward the Galilee Panhandle region.
Alert systems activated in Manara, Margaliot, and Mishgav Am following the rocket launches. According to the IDF, one projectile exploded in an open area while air defense systems successfully intercepted the second rocket before it could reach populated areas. No casualties or property damage were reported from the barrage.
Military officials noted that Hezbollah continues to demonstrate willingness to violate agreements and target Israeli communities.

Additional Eliminations and Infrastructure Strikes
Earlier on Saturday, forces from the 36th Division struck and eliminated three Hezbollah terrorists traveling in an armed pickup truck loaded with combat equipment. In a separate incident, troops neutralized a terrorist riding a motorcycle in southern Lebanon, south of the forward defense line.
Combat teams from the Golani Brigade and multi-dimensional units identified two additional armed Hezbollah operatives in the Litani River area, also south of the defensive perimeter. The terrorists were eliminated through coordinated air force strikes directed by ground forces, the military stated.
Throughout the weekend, IDF forces targeted multiple structures previously utilized by Hezbollah, including facilities used by the elite Radwan Force for military purposes. The strikes also destroyed a weapons storage facility that housed combat equipment. Military officials emphasized that these operations aim to systematically dismantle terror infrastructure and prevent future attacks against Israeli forces and civilians.
