Defense Minister Israel Katz said Israel has detected attempts by Iran and its proxies to carry out attacks aimed at influencing the results of Israel's election, and warned that Iran would burn if it attacks.
Defense Minister Israel Katz said Israel has identified attempts by Iran and its proxies to launch attacks intended to shape the outcome of Israel's election. He made the remarks at an officers' course graduation ceremony.
Katz described the Iranian regime as being at its weakest point.
"We see your attempts, we are prepared to thwart them, and we are ready to strike you with full force," Katz said.
He ended with a warning to Tehran: "If Iran attacks Israel—Iran will burn!"
On October 20, as JFeed reported, Katz warned Hezbollah that it would face a severe response if it joined an Iranian attack on Israel. In those remarks, he said Israel had established a security zone covering 700 square kilometers inside Lebanese territory. He added that the IDF would not leave it until Hezbollah is disarmed.
