In accordance with the assessment of the situation, it was decided to close the shops in the Huwara route where a shooting attack was carried out last night, for the purpose of strengthening the security preparedness in the area and at the same time the reinforcement of the security and measures in the area.

As you may recall, last night IDF soldiers located the Arab terrorist who carried out the shooting attack on an Israeli vehicle in Hawara and neutralized him. The soldiers began the hunt immediately upon receiving the report of the shooting attack and set up roadblocks at several locations in Judea and Samaria in order to catch the terrorists.

In the documentation distributed after the attack, you can see the terrorist who apparently fled the scene on foot, pulled out a gun, and opened fire from a particularly close distance at the Israeli vehicle.

According to the reports, there was a couple and two children in the car from the center of the country who came to travel in Samaria, the resourceful driver of the car overtook the truck that was in front of him and the terrorist continued to shoot at them, but miraculously none of the occupants of the car were hurt.

Meanwhile, at the Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, two fighters who were injured in an operational activity yesterday in Tulkarm are still hospitalized. The hospital reported that both are in serious condition, sedated and ventilated and are being treated in the general intensive care unit. During the last day they underwent a series of surgeries that stabilized their condition and currently there is no danger to their lives.
