The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) announced today (Sunday) that two terrorists were killed on Zikim Beach after they attempted to infiltrate into Israeli territory.

It was also reported that dozens of terrorists have been thwarted so far, and dozens of targets have been struck by the naval forces. Additionally, during the night, an Israeli missile boat intercepted five naval vessels belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization. In addition, vessels of the Palestinian Jihad terrorist organization were thwarted off the coast of Gaza. The IDF explains that these naval vessels that were thwarted were intended for carrying out attacks through Israel's maritime space.

Earlier today, it was reported that a group of terrorists hijacked a vehicle at the Mavki'im Junction and began driving on Highway 4. IDF forces initiated a pursuit and apprehended the terrorists after a firefight. Simultaneously, exchanges of fire are taking place between IDF soldiers and terrorists near Kibbutz Magen in the Eshkol Regional Council near the Gaza border. At the same time, there has been renewed rocket fire from the Gaza Strip into Israel, with sirens sounding in the town of Sderot and communities in the vicinity.
