IDF Flies in Hundreds of Soldiers From Abroad

Air Force planes flew IDF soldiers abroad back to Israel to take part in the fighting in Operation Swords of Iron: "Part of the IDF's efforts to concentrate additional forces for the fighting."

Air Force planes brought back IDF soldiers present abroad to Israel so they could take part in the fighting of Operation Swords of Iron.

The IDF Spokesperson said "As part of the IDF's efforts to concentrate additional forces for continued fighting, 'Karnaf' and 'Shimshon' Air Force planes flew hundreds of IDF soldiers back in the last 24 hours who were present in various countries throughout Europe."

He also said that "the arrival of the planes and the soldiers is coordinated by the Foreign Ministry, the Operations Branch, the Air Force, and the Strategy and Third Circle Branch of the IDF."
