Israel Elections 2026

Cohen-Aliyah: Pollsters led bloc to collapse

Professor Moshe Cohen-Eliya says right-wing channels came closer to the real results and calls the Kaplan protest movement fascists who brought Israel to October 7th.

Professor Moshe Cohen-Eliya addressed the actual election results Wednesday morning, which show that while Netanyahu cannot form a government, the change bloc suffered a massive defeat.

"The failure of the old hegemony. Late Supreme Court President Miriam Naor z"l said that Netanyahu's trial is really Mandelblit's trial. And she was right. On that same note, it's fairly trivial to say that the 2026 elections are the trial of the pollsters. And what emerges clearly so far is that the duo that used to work together, and today work on two competing right-wing channels, Momo Filber on Channel 14 and Tzuri Sharon on Channel 15, were much closer to the real results than the pollsters of the 'left' channels."

"And this is not surprising at all, it happens again and again. Because the polls on the 'left' are consciousness engineering and an act of fraud. And the main pollsters of the old hegemony channels need to give an accounting to those who drank their poison of lies. But they of course won't, and the lie machine will continue trying to engineer our consciousness so it aligns with the messaging system of the old hegemony."

The professor continued: "The old hegemony finds itself completely bruised in light of the emerging results. The option of establishing a minority government with the support of Ra'am and the Joint List (both are needed), when representatives of these parties refuse to see Hamas as a terrorist organization, and one of their members dedicated the 'victory' to the Nukhba terrorists in Israeli prison who slaughtered our people so brutally on October 7th, this is an option that sane Israelis (except of course the lunatics of Kaplan and the 'Democrats') will not agree to accept."

"The old hegemony needs deep soul-searching. Is it going in the line of the fascists from the 'Democrats' party, those who led the Kaplan protests that collapsed the army and led the people of Israel to October 7th and this political camp to complete collapse (an order of magnitude of 49 seats according to current numbers), or will it finally understand that its boycott of the traditional Mizrahim in Likud is a double-edged sword for it, a boycott that ironically leaves it outside the circles of influence on shaping the policy of the people of Israel."

He added: "Eisenkot --- Manlis and the Kaplanists around you screwed you. They led you to a line where you'll be a kind of embittered Lieberman from the outside."

"If after the reform, the protest, October 7th and a war that has already lasted more than three years, and if after such a crazy voting percentage, especially in the left districts, and after a campaign of transportation from abroad, and after such a massive mobilization of the Arabs, this is the result, then you should draw conclusions."

"Otherwise this will be the end of what they once called 'the left,' and today it's a group of arrogant and embittered losers who think 'they stole the country from them.'"
