Shirly Pinto-Kadosh

Shirly Pinto-Kadosh is Israel’s first deaf Member of Knesset, who worked to promote accessibility and equal rights for people with disabilities. During Operation Iron Swords, she served as an international public diplomacy ambassador, making information accessible in sign language. She founded the “Purple Emergency Center” and initiated the “Purple Homefront” program to provide accessible emergency support. She volunteered in the IDF, received national honors, and holds a law degree. Deaf from birth to deaf parents, she is married and a mother of two, inspiring others through her journey.
