The conflict between Yemen's Houthi militia and Saudi Arabia escalated sharply after at least 12 civilians were killed in a missile strike on Riyadh's main airport, prompting Saudi airstrikes on Yemen and a fresh Houthi missile barrage on the Saudi capital.
Houthis hit Riyadh airport again
Yemen's Iran-backed militia launches second missile barrage at Saudi capital's main airport hours after initial strike killed at least 12, including Bangladeshi and Pakistani nationals
Hours after the Houthis launched a combined missile attack on Saudi Arabia's main airport that killed dozens and caused heavy damage to a terminal at the facility, triggering a Saudi response against Sanaa airport, the Iran-backed militia fired another wave of missiles at the airport.

The initial Houthi attack killed at least 12 civilians, including Bangladeshi and Pakistani nationals and other foreign citizens. Saudi Arabia responded with a wave of airstrikes against targets in Yemen, focusing on the airport in the Houthi capital of Sanaa.
The Houthis have now answered with a fresh missile attack on Riyadh's main airport.

According to reports, a second strike hit King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh a short time ago, following a combined Houthi missile attack. At this stage, the extent of damage and whether there are casualties from the attack remains unclear.
Shortly before the second strike, Prime Minister Netanyahu issued a sharp condemnation of the deadly Houthi attack against Saudi Arabia, a country with which Israel has no official relations. The statement came after foreign reports confirmed Israeli-Saudi cooperation against the Houthis.
