Straight From The White House

Exclusive: Trump Urges Israel to Act on Iran, Says Senior White House Official to JFeed

In a dramatic shift from the Biden years, the Trump administration is actively encouraging Israel’s military pressure on Iran, seeing it as a strategic lever to force Tehran back to the table on terms acceptable to Jerusalem.

Behind the scenes in Washington, far from the headlines speaking of confusion and miscommunication between the United States and Israel, a very different story is unfolding. In an exclusive interview with JFeed, a senior official inside the White House revealed that President Trump is not only fully informed of Israel’s military preparations against Iran but is actively supporting and even encouraging them.

"There is no miscalculation," the official said. "That idea is being pushed by people from the previous administration who want to rewrite history. President Trump is completely in the loop. He views Israel not as a loose cannon but as a full partner in restoring Western deterrence. He wants Iran to feel the pressure."

According to the official, the current level of coordination between Washington and Jerusalem is deeper and more deliberate than at any point in recent memory. The Trump administration, he said, is not standing aside. It is involved in shaping the posture that both countries present toward Tehran. "This is not improvisation. This is a calculated strategy. Israel is signaling military readiness, and we see that as essential to bring Iran to a better deal, one that respects Israel’s red lines."

In contrasting terms, the official described the Biden administration as having taken the opposite approach, one that often left Israel isolated. "Under Biden, Israel was asked to stay quiet while the United States tried to bring Iran back into an agreement at any cost. Crucial weapons deliveries were delayed. Military coordination was weakened. The trust eroded."

He cited the delayed transfer of bunker-penetrating munitions and limited intelligence sharing as examples of that policy shift. "They saw Israel as a diplomatic headache, not as a partner. They tried to contain it instead of empowering it. That era is over."

Now, he said, there is a clear sense of alignment. The president is receiving regular updates on Israeli military preparedness and Iranian nuclear movements. Senior officials are in close communication with the IDF and Mossad. "When Israel asks what it can do, we ask how we can help them do it better."

Recent developments suggest that pressure is mounting. The International Atomic Energy Agency has confirmed a sharp increase in Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium. Meanwhile, Israeli air drills, regional deployments, and logistical movements have accelerated. American aerial refueling assets have also been positioned in Gulf countries, a move widely interpreted as preparatory.

"This is not a bluff. It is not messaging. It is posture with purpose," the official said. "And if Israel decides to act, it will not be alone."
