Resurfaced IDF T-Shirt
Jewish Actress Odessa A’zion Denies Zionist Label Amid Backlash
A'zion is desperately trying to distance herself from claims she is a Zionist, but she, as other self-hating Jews, forgets the lesson paid in Jewish blood: Hitler didn't care, and neither does the world.

Rising Jewish actress Odessa A’zion, 25, has publicly distanced herself from Zionism following online uproar over a 2017 photo of her modeling an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)-style T-shirt, which she was apparently selling at age 17.
The controversy erupted in late December 2025 when X users shared screenshots of the old Instagram post, sparking accusations of her supporting Israel amid ongoing debates over the Gaza conflict.
A’zion, known for roles in A24’s "Marty Supreme" and Netflix’s "I Love LA," responded bluntly on Instagram: "debunking!! not a zio," using a common abbreviation for "Zionist" often viewed as derogatory by some Jewish communities.
In a follow-up comment on a Hear Me Out News reel covering the story, she elaborated: "I do not support the IDF or Netanyahu in any way! I wish I had known the significance of that shirt when I was a kid, unfortunately I didn’t then, but I know now and it’s not something I support at all! Putting this to rest!"
The backlash stemmed from the vintage-style shirt featuring the IDF logo, which A’zion had listed for sale online nearly a decade ago.
Critics questioned her denial, with some pointing out the shirt's clear symbolism: "How do you refute a screenshot of yourself attempting to sell your IDF t-shirt?" one commenter asked. Others recalled similar shirts being popular among Jewish youth in the 2000s, viewing it as a product of cultural upbringing rather than deliberate politics.
Whatever the case, she's clearly not proud of her Jewish roots and wants nothing to do with Israel.
